Waar die gevoel in jou,
die jare se pyn geheel moet word.

Waar seer gedagtes wat aldag kringloop
verlig en vergeet moet word.

Geloof!

Hierdie salf is ’n vertroue in iets
wat nie gesien kan word nie!

Johannes sê jou oorwinning,
wat uit God gebore is,
is geloof in Christus.

Sny die seer verlede uit
en salf jou wonde met geloof.
Neem dus God in jou vertroue,
en jy sal Hom nog vir beterskap loof.

The Ointment

It’s time for healing now -
Where feelings deep inside you,
The years of pain, must be made whole.

Where hurtful thoughts that endlessly circle
Are eased and then forgotten.

Faith!

This ointment is a trust
In something unseen!

John tells you your victory,
Born from God,
Is faith in Christ.

Cut out the painful past
And anoint your wounds with faith.
So take God into your trust,
And you will praise Him for your healing.
